Portugal in the Top 10 of Global Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index

For the first time, Portugal is in the Top 10 of the most competitive destinations in Europe, according to the Global Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index prepared by the World Economic Forum. Globally, Portugal is now occupying the 15th position.

In the “Safety and Security” índex, Portugal is the 10th safest touristic destination in the world and in terms of “Price and Competitiveness” the highlight goes to “Ticket taxes, airport charges”.
